To arrive before sunset (around 5:30 pm year‑round), plan on landing by 1:30 pm—customs and baggage usually take about an hour, and off‑site car rental adds another 30 minutes, putting you at the property around 6:30 pm. For flights arriving after 2 pm, it’s best to stay overnight in San José, Jacó, or Manuel Antonio before making the drive.
